Oncomfort is a fast growing scale-up company that is significantly accelerating its internationalization and business growth.
Accordingly, Oncomfort is looking for a hands-on Upstream Product Manager who will operate at the center of the organization. The Upstream Product Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from A to Z to improve and develop the medical devices product portfolio. He/She will coordinate the work of the different Oncomfort departments and external stakeholders. He/She needs to answer to customer needs and keep the Oncomfort product portfolio at the forefront of innovation.
Your tasks
- Analyzing needs and market potential
- Deployment and development of the product roadmap and the product portfolio with (IoT) sensor technology for brain therapies
- Upstream management of the product (from A to Z)
- Leading project planning sessions
- Efficiently coordinating internal and external resources to ensure the co-creation process
- Managing project progress and meeting deadlines
- Optimizing and improving where necessary
- Helping to build and develop the Oncomfort network of partners
- Set up and signing off on contracts with partners
- Conducting market and post-market studies
- Participating in tender processes (i.e. design, submission and review)
- Managing relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Providing and coordinating technical support for the Oncomfort departments and customers
- Working in close proximity with the marketing and development department in order to build marketing communication around the products
Your profile
- Min. Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Business or Business Administration, Management, Engineering or IT/Computer Science
- 2-3 (5) years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar functions in the medical device industry
- Worked in the field of medical monitoring devices
- Native Dutch and/or French and a strong knowledge of English
- A passionate innovator with strong organizational and communication skills on a management and operational level
- Independent and analytical, likes to take initiative
- Team player who is comfortable to network and easy to get along with
